Healthy chocolate mousse
I love chocolate but I also love healthy homemade versions of it. For me the importance of a healthy dessert is that it needs to taste good and be very easy to make. I’ve never been a fan of spending hours in the kitchen, so I’m always on the look out for quick recipes that do not involve many ingredients. One as such is this chocolate mousse, in which one of the main ingredients is avocado, but you cannot taste it at all. The berries add a nice freshness to the mousse and it is totally toddler friendly!
What you will need for 4-6 servings:
2 avocados
8 medjool dates
6 tsp cacao powder
splash of water
handful of blueberries and raspberries
How to make it:
Start by blending the dates in a food processor. When they have become soft and formed a sort of paste, add the avocados and a splash of water and blend some more. Then add the cacao powder and more water if needed. Keep blending until all the ingredients have mixed together nicely and formed a soft mousse.
Serve in a small bowl, top with berries and enjoy!
