Healthy chocolate spread
I came across this recipe whilst making chocolate mousse and accidentally added too much water. The taste was still nice but the consistency became too thin. Perfect for spreading on a piece of bread or a pancake, though! If you are more of a sweet tooth you can always add a bit of honey or maple syrup to the spread.
What you will need to make one jar:
8 Meedjoul dates
6 tsp Cacao powder
Optional: 1tbs honey or maple syrup
How to make it?
Start by blending the dates in a food processor. When they have become soft and formed a paste, add the avocados and half of the water and blend some more. Then add the cacao powder and more water if needed. Keep blending until all the ingredients have mixed together nicely and formed a thin spread. Sweeten with honey or maple syrup if needed.
Spread on your favorite bread/pancake/biscuit/etc and enjoy!
